Question by myant: your bank deposits will give obama nomics 1%…is it a tax?
ON JANUARY 1 ST 2012, THE GOVERNMENT IS REQUIRING EVERYONE TO HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT FOR SS CHECKS.
WONDER WHY?
1% tax on all bank transactions HR4646

Watch for this AFTER November elections; remember this BEFORE you VOTE in case you think Obama’s looking out for your best interest.

1% tax on all bank transactions HR 4646

This government just cannot think of enough ways to hurt the American people! I sure hope this dies!!!!!

FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!

1% tax on all bank transactions HR 4646 – ANOTHER NEW OBAMA TAX SLIPPED IN WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP. Checked this on snopes, it’s true ! Check out HR 4646.

President Obama’s finance team is recommending a one percent (1%) transaction fee (TAX). Obama’s plan is to sneak it in after the November elections to keep it under the radar.

This is a 1% tax on all transactions at any financial institution – banks, credit unions, savings and loans, etc. Any deposit you make, or even a transfer within your account, will have a 1% tax charged. ~If your paycheck or your social security or whatever is direct deposit, it will get a 1% tax charged for the transaction. ~If your paycheck is $ 1000, then you will pay Obama $ 10 just for the privilege of depositing your paycheck in your bank. Even if you hand carry your paycheck or any check into your bank for a deposit, 1% tax will be charged. ~You receive a $ 5,000 stock dividend from your broker, Obama takes $ 50 just to allow you to deposit that check in the bank.. ~If you take $ 1,000 cash to deposit at your bank, 1% tax will be charged.

Mind you, this is from the man who promised that, if you make under $ 250,000 per year, you will not see one penny of new tax. Keep your eyes and ears open, you will be amazed at what you learn about this guy’s under-the-table moves to increase the number of ways you are taxed.

Oh, and by the way, if you receive a refund from the IRS next year and you have it direct deposited or you walk in to deposit that check, you guessed it. You will pay a 1% charge of that money just for putting it in your bank. Remember, any money, cash, check or whatever, no matter where it came from, you will pay a 1% fee if you put it in the bank.

Some will say, oh well, it’s just 1%. Are you kidding me? It’s a 1% tax increase across the board. Remember, once the tax is there, they can also raise it at will. And if anyone protests, they will just say, “Oh,that’s not really a tax, it’s a user fee”! Think this is no big deal? Go back and look at the transactions you made on one year’s banking statements. Then add the total of all those transactions and deduct 1%. Still think it’s no big deal?

=

–
” A government big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take away everything you have.” – Barry Goldwater

= . snopes.com: Debt Free America Act •••
Is the U.S. government proposing a 1% tax on debit card usage and/or banking transactions?

…It is true. The bill is HR – 4646 introduced by US Rep Peter deFazio D-Oregon and US Senator Tom Harkin D-Iowa.

Their plan is to sneak it in after the…

…moved beyond proposing studies and submitted the Debt Free America Act (H.R. 4646 ), a bill calling for the implementation of a scheme to pay down the…

…[2010] by Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.). His “Debt Free America Act” (H.R. 4646 ) would impose a 1 percent “transaction tax” on every financial transaction…
These guys use the freedom of religion laws for lavish and excessive personal gain and everyone but the marks they make money off knows it.
we don’t like it
However no one forces their church members to cough up the cash. It’s their money and if they want to waste it this way or on a $ 100,000 memorial tombstone for their pet gerbil, they can choose to do so.
We tolerate some pretty obnoxious stuff so we can have freedom of speech.
Is this the same?
Or is it more like the way we treat Hate speach where we say they go too far
Do the mega church people go too far?

Scottsbluff, NE (Vocus) November 19, 2010

The Rural Nebraska Healthcare Network (RNHN), a consortium of nine rural hospitals and related clinics in western Nebraska, held a ceremonial groundbreaking November 19 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb., for construction of a new $ 18M fiber optic medical network that will extend throughout the Nebraska panhandle. The project is made possible with the support of Regional West Foundation and in cooperation with Fiberutilties Group, Zayo Group, LLC, and Adesta, LLC.

Utilizing federal funding under the Rural Healthcare Pilot Program of the Federal Communications Commission, in conjunction with funding provided by Zayo Group, the RNHN will connect nine primary care hospitals and dozens of affiliated clinics creating one of the most advanced and robust medical technology networks in Nebraska. “This fiber network will facilitate the deployment of advanced medical technologies, and vastly improve patient care and physician communication,” said Lisa Bewley, Chief Information Officer for Regional West Medical Center.

The RNHN partnered with Zayo Group, a Colorado based provider of Bandwidth Infrastructure and Network Neutral Colocation Services, in the construction of the network that will enable additional commercial telecommunications products to be offered in under-served rural Nebraska.

“Zayo is pleased to be a part of constructing the network that will enable communities in Western Nebraska access to advanced medical care,” stated Glenn Russo, President, Zayo Networks. “We will also be significantly advancing the overall communication capabilities within these communities by offering high bandwidth services over this new fiber network to businesses, government agencies and communications companies throughout western Nebraska.”

The proposed 750 mile fiber network spans 12 counties in western Nebraska, and will connect to national research networks such as National Lambda Rail and Internet 2 in Denver, Colorado. Adesta, LLC, a local Nebraska company is about to begin the network construction “We are excited to be here today to celebrate and commemorate this amazing network that will undoubtedly revolutionize healthcare in the panhandle of Nebraska,” said Bob Sommerfeld, President of Adesta. Adesta is going to hit the ground running, and we are looking forward to a timely completion. We are very honored to be a part of this.”

Almost two years in the planning, the RNHN has utilized Fiberutilities Group LLC, an Iowa based technology and management firm, to handle the planning, financing, operational and government coordination functions necessary to make the project a reality. “This network represents the power of people working together,” said Kent Van Metre, Vice President with Fiberutilities Group. “With tremendous support from the FCC, and by partnering with community-oriented organizations like Zayo and Adesta, the RNHN is poised to have a truly state-of-the-art, advanced healthcare network.”

Charlottesville, VA (PRWEB) October 16, 2007

The Center for Politics will hold a day-long National Constitutional Convention on Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. Moderated by CBS News’ Bob Schieffer, the event will feature a keynote address by Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito and special remarks by Former Vice Presidential nominee Geraldine Ferraro and Former Senator Bob Dole, in addition to three panel discussions, periods of question & answer and real-time audience voting on proposed reforms (see full schedule below).

This groundbreaking examination of America’s governing document is free and open to the public, with advance registration required at http://www.amoreperfectconstitution.com. Members of the media are invited to attend, and should register on line and then contact Matt Smyth at the Center for Politics (434-243-8466). Wireless internet will be available inside the auditorium; electrical outlets will be available at specified locations. Please see special press policy for Justice Alito below.

The convention, which will include three panel discussions in addition to the keynote address and special remarks, will offer a wide range of topics for discussion such as presidential and congressional election reform, checking the powers of government and the question, “Should there be another Constitutional Convention?” All in attendance will have the opportunity to vote on each panel topic and render a tentative decision on the major reforms giving this event the feel of a constitutional convention.

The goal of the National Constitutional Convention is not to promote one possible reform over another, but rather to spur a grand, national discussion on the Constitution of the United States and whether the cornerstone of our republic could or should be a means of revitalizing civic and political engagement in America, curtailing apathy and renewing confidence in American politics and government.

Center for Politics founder and director Professor Larry J. Sabato added, “We’re asking all Americans to set aside their own political loyalties, to look past the current ‘values’ debates and hot-button issues and to consider this very real possibility: that the failure of the nation to update the Constitution and the structure of government it originally bequeathed to us is at the root of our current political dysfunction.”

In his new book, A More Perfect Constitution, Sabato provides twenty-three suggestions to update and improve the U.S. Constitution for future generations. The idea behind the book is to spark a national discussion of constitutional reform and generate a renewed public interest in the mechanisms of American government. By no means are the proposals contained in the book intended to be the end of the debate – rather the beginning of a generation-long look at a practical revision of a governing document that the Framers themselves intended to be updated on a regular basis. The National Constitutional Convention has been convened as a first step in this process. For more information and to join the discussion, visit http://www.amoreperfectconstitution.com.

SPECIAL PRESS POLICY FOR JUSTICE SAMUEL ALITO: According to stipulations from the office of Justice Alito, no audio or video recording will be permitted during his keynote address. Still photographs are permitted, and members of the media covering the event may take notes during his speech.

Congressman Ron Paul of Texas enjoys a national reputation as the premier advocate for liberty in politics today. Dr. Paul is the leading spokesman in Washington for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies based on commodity-backed currency. He is known among both his colleagues in Congress and his constituents for his consistent voting record in the House of Representatives: Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535? on Capitol Hill. Ron Paul was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon in the US Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County. As a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology, Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4000 babies! He and Carol, who reside in Lake Jackson, Texas, are the proud parents of five children and have eighteen grandchildren …

THIS IS MY BLOG. tatoott1009.com tatoott1009.com tatoott1009.com tatoott1009.wordpress.com On February 5, 2012, President Obama invoked the NDAA, which authorizes the use of military force, and issues an executive order declaring the “threat” of Iran a National Emergency. The video below shows this issuance of President Obama executive order which declares Iran’s threat to cut off oil supplies a national emergency. The executive order directs all government agencies to respond immediately to the threat. It further invokes the authority of the 2012 NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) which gives the President the power to launch military action against any nation without the approval of Congress. Ironically, the State of Emergency order also accuses the Iranian central bank of deceptive banking practices.

Question by sweet_emotion: Novel idea; Conservatives should lead by example with transparency – Tea Party should demand it?
Nothing wrong with the American people getting a win. How about the minority opposition party leading by example from the rear? The Tea Party people have been screaming about transparency, yet it is not part of any ‘Purity Test’ or principles or platform of theirs. Demonstrate to the American people what transparency is and what it can be. Walk the talk. All those screeching for more transparency than introduced so far should demand it from the areas they control and use that example to promote the transparency agenda. Much stronger & more positive action than Sarah Palin prohibiting the press from her events/speeches.

-E-mails from the Palin administration are being withheld from the public and the governor is citing executive privilege,” reported Alaska TV station KTUU
-Wrote the Anchorage Daily News, “Palin promised her pipeline contract negotiations would be open and transparent — although the meetings starting today won’t be…”
-“She’s also been criticized by the local semiweekly newspaper for a new policy requiring department heads to get the mayor’s approval before talking to reporters,” the Anchorage Daily News noted. “An editorial in The Frontiersman labeled it a ‘gag order

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/09/how-transparent.html

-CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (CNN) – Sarah Palin likes to tell voters around the country about how she “put the government checkbook online” in Alaska. On Thursday, Palin suggested she would take that same proposal to Washington.

In 2006 and 2007, Obama teamed up with Republican Sen. Tom Coburn to pass the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act, also known as “Google for Government.”

In June of 2008, Obama and Coburn introduced new Senate legislation to expand the information available online to include details on earmarks, competitive bidding, criminal activities, audit disputes and other government information.

-Gov. Palin’s response to the “Troopergate” investigation shifted from “transparency,” to confidentiality.

http://community.adn.com/mini_apps/vmix/player.php?ID=2221420&GID=118

-For the third time since the presidential election — the first at a speech in China, the second at a speech for a pro-life group in Indiana — Sarah Palin will give a political speech to the National Tea Party Convention that members of the media are not allowed to attend.

The current administration has started with some good steps towards transparency, but it’s not there yet. Let the opposition set the tone – lead by example – benefit the American people – audition for their jobs – validate their complaints. Earn those cush salaries while many America’s wish for jibs so they could WORK! You know, walk some of that personal responsibility talk by setting the tone, instead of just hypocritical carping.

And it doesn’t even involve a felony. If doing the right thing, or serving in a positive way offends their sensibilities they could think of it as ‘shaming’ the current administration into even more transparency or building an election argument based on action rather than lies. And the worst that could happen – a win for the American people – delivered by….. What do ya think?

Senator Obama – doing transparency before transparency was cool – & before Tea Pots had spouts. When will the Tea Party begin with the transparency? Or even suggest it to their leaders? Maybe even get transparent on their funding by lobbyists? Maybe even more transparent than ….the ‘C’ Street Family! Or James O’Keefe. Now that might be found credible.
